The selling point for us with this house was the backyard, because we knew it had so much potential. I knew I wanted to really dive deep into our Spanish roots and create a Spanish Mediterranean inspired backyard of our dreams!
The backyard is a MASSIVE job and we’re going to be completing small parts of it over different phases and the first phase is happening this weekend! Eek! So buckle up friends because we’re going to be creating a DIY wall trellis, tiling and planting all the dang plants.
Spanish Mediterranean Inspired Backyard Plans
We’re planning on adding lots of warm wood tones, terra-cotta planters and lots of climbing and vining plants. This project is going to be jam packed with DIY projects and lots of fun home decor from the Home Depot.
I’m proud of myself for all the planters I’ve hoarded over the years because they’re all about to come in clutch for this project and all the new plants we’re going to adding to the backyard.
