We all know our kids are sharing a bedroom at the new house after downsizing. However, did you know we combined 3 rooms into one?! Yes, if that sounds crazy it absolutely is. We combined Liv’s bedroom, Cash’s Nursery and our Carolina Room which was used as their playroom together. When we still lived in Tennessee I thought it was a brilliant idea. Turns out we did NOT downsize their belongings enough or we didn’t account for lack of closet and storage space…or both. Definitely both.

We have some big plans for Cash and Liv’s shared bedroom, but as always in remodeling you have obstacles and one of those for us is the flooring and the kitchen remodel. Before we can tackle all the big plans we have for the kids bedroom we have to lay the new flooring and the kitchen remodel so Phase 2 won’t happen till after the baby gets here in 2022.

Currently Liv and Cash sleep on opposite sides of the bedroom so we’re going to transform Liv’s Corner of the bedroom into something that feels more like home for her with a Spanish beach flare.
