Boring Bathroom Update DAY 5: CALL ME A PLUMBER! 👩🏽‍🔧 installing that toilet lever was 45 minutes longer than I expected, but I feel like we all did that together 😂 There’s also a thing called rapid setting grout and we are not friends...currently on no speaking terms. When we took the shower glass out of the box it 100% was not what I bought but we have no time to exchange it because well...we missed the return window since we bought it back in November. It was supposed to be framed shower glass and not frameless...but it still looks beautiful! Tomorrow is the big REVEAL and I’ll share the whole budget breakdown and how long it REALLY took us to remodel this entire bathroom! Boring Bathroom Update DAY 4: maybe if we chant “I love tiling” it will go faster 😂 I’ve contemplated my sanity with this small timeline we have to finish and using the small tiles, but the patterned tile may have saved the day! I also may have gone off on a tangent but we as women are amazing and so are mothers. We are freaking super heroes 💪🏽Make time for what you love girls!! we are so close to finishing this bathroom remodel, the character is already showinggggg the pattern tile is the palazzo dynasty deco in the color vintage grey and the terra-cotta looking tiles are Celine in the color cotto both from @bedrosianstile ♥️ TO-do list feels like it looks the same WHYY: - finish tiling shower walls (my back is still with us but my knees have left the room) - finish drywall and paint - install plumbing fixtures - to plank the ceiling or NOT, that is the question? - the new vanity fits, BLESS - hang the new light! Boring Bathroom Update DAY 3: 18 hrs of tiling an Boring Bathroom Update DAY 3: 18 hrs of tiling and COUNTING 😅 we’re getting there!! couldn’t be more excited to partner with @bedrosianstile to make this Spanish bathroom dream design come true! I wanted to keep with the Saltillo tile design but put something that’s made for bathrooms like the Celine cotto tile. waterproofing the bathroom was so straightforward too, I’d 100% choose this system again 🙌🏽 eeek! Boring Bathroom Update DAY 2: From demo to hangin Boring Bathroom Update DAY 2: From demo to hanging cement board and drywall this tiny bathroom has already made so much progress! I’ve already measured wrong and thought we could do a 30” vanity but SPACEEEE and ended up returning for the 24”. We’ve removed the window and tub BUT stick with me, and trust the process!! IYKYK 😉 But for real, thoughts on removing the tub and window?! Boring Bathroom Update DAY 1: Did you think I was Boring Bathroom Update DAY 1: Did you think I was done with surprises?! There’s more so much more coming but we had to pull one more project out before we moved 🙃🫢 we started demo on tbis bathroom in February and it has sat partially like that for MONTHS! We’re strapped for time and now have to knock out this bathroom remodel in a matter of weeks…like less than 2 weeks to be exact 🫢 because we’ve got a ton of other loose ends to finish up. Cody and my FIL are tackling demo and I’m rollin’ in solo for tile later 😅 Buckle up girls, I see 10hr work days in my future.
