It’s Friday and you know what that means! This week has flown by for us over here, but we are so excited for the weekend festivities.

32 Weeks Pregnant

We’re in the awkward phase of the season where I want to wear cozy sweaters and yoga pants for the rest of the year. Too bad it’s still 95 degrees outside! Anyone else getting to enjoy those crisp mornings and cooler weather yet? We enjoyed the summer, but the closer I get to the end of this pregnancy the more I want the weather to cool off ASAP!

I found out at my doctors appt that I did NOT pass my 1-hour glucose test. If you’re pregnant you have to take a glucose test at around 28 weeks to test how your body processes sugar. Well I took it and didn’t hear from anyone. Only to find out 4 weeks later that I ended up FAILING the test! To pass the glucose test your levels have to be at 135 and below. Guess what mine was, 136!

Turns out my doctor is a bit of a stickler and I had to take the 3-hour glucose test on Thursday morning. I thought the 1-hour test was bad, boy was I wrong! The 3-hour test was so rough. I fasted for 12 hours and then spent 4 hours in the lab. They take your blood every hour too which I wasn’t aware of. The second hour I thought I was going to pass out, I got so lightheaded.

Everyone and their mom seemed to be snacking or eating their lunch in the waiting room. It also seemed like every commercial that came on the TV was a food commercial. Fingers cross I pass this 3-hour test!

If I don’t, I’ll be diagnosed with gestational diabetes and have to see a nutritionist every week till the baby arrives. That’s 7ish weeks of getting my blood drawn and talking about what I’m eating every week. Let’s all pray that’s not the issue for me!

Fall Décor Finds

I’ve rounded up some great Fall Décor Finds that can technically last you all year round! We are a bit minimalist when it comes to decorating for fall, but I wanted to share some great finds to bring in those fall colors and textures this season if you’re like me and want a little cozier style.

Better Homes & Gardens Stylemaker Event 2019

Guess what y’all?! I was invited to be a Better Homes & Gardens Stylemaker this year and to attend an exclusive event in New York City with the Better Homes & Gardens Team and many other bloggers. How cool is that?! Sadly, I’m having major ‘FOMO’ (fear of missing out). I wasn’t able to attend the event on Thursday in New York City so I’m going to vicariously live through all my other Instagram Blogger friends that will be attending.

Liv’s First Week of Preschool

Liv just had her first week of ‘Pre’ Preschool this week and she absolutely loved it! Not to mention how much work I got done while she was there. But boy did I squeeze her tight when I picked her up! She’s not old enough quite yet for actual preschool, so she’s enrolled in a Mother’s Day Out type of program. She goes a few days a week from 9:00am – 3:00pm. This program prepares her for a more structured day once she starts curriculum in Preschool and Kindergarten. It also helps me create a better work from home routine as well as get ready for Baby #2.

Community over Competition

One of my favorite things to do on Instagram is to share some of the new friends and old friends with all of my readers and audience. I’m so excited to share that I’m now apart of an amazing group of ladies with the #thatroomisEVERYTHING hashtag! Every other Friday we will share an account that uses the hashtag and follows all of the hosts: @craven_haven, @frengpartyof5, @kourtnileigh (me!), @thefoxfamilyden, and @thewarrenhaus. Those who play along and will be invited to guest host with all of us and be featured on all of our accounts!

Happy Friday Friends!
