Happy Friday Five friends! We are so excited to be heading into this snow filled weekend! If y’all have been following along on our decluttering journey to rid the house of everything that doesn’t give us joy and just “Let it goooo!” you know we have been saving some serious organizational inspo for all of these closets we have to organize. Y’all Spring cleaning is just around the corner and I’ve saved all of our decluttering and cleaning checklists here to make it easier on you! I’m chatting about spring cleaning as an ice storm heads our way. Ohhh boy!

The Many Hats We Wear

Enjoying this winter wonderland of 6+ inches of snow is completely over now that we’re dealing with multiple roof leaks in our Carolina Room. It’s by no means as bad as what’s going on in Texas or Louisiana, however a roof look is never good especially if its more than 1. Let alone 5+ and growing!

This week the kids stayed home from school ALL week, what a dream for Liv to be home with mommy all week!

Not everyday will be filled with giant DIY projects or massive renovations. There’s an ebb and flow to our everyday that doesn’t always allow for the constant go, go, go. I wear many hats being an entrepreneur, mother, designer, DIYer, “cleaner upper” – as Liv likes to call it.

I love getting to wear my creativity hat to help fill my cup but I also have to wear the SOLO parenting hat quite a bit being a military spouse. Meaning, my schedule has to be flexible. I have to be able to drop a planned project I’ve been really eager to share because some hats need a little more loving than other.

This isn’t to say that there are things that don’t matter but that everything has their time to shine. There is no such thing as balance, just knowing when it’s time to take off one hat for another.

Organization Inspiration for Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning is upon us and I couldn’t be more excited to organize each and every closet we have in here! I remodeled my closet in the Fall of 2020 and it has given me the

Getting on the Chelsea Boot Train

I got these boots a few weeks ago and wore them for 7 days straight and I have NO blisters. I really didn’t want to jump on the Chelsea Boot bandwagon because I wasn’t 100% sold on them. They’re the best worn in feeling boots I’ve ever bought and water proof.

Even though our home is surrounded by snow I bought swim suits for the kids last night! I know, I know, some of y’all aren’t ready for the warm weather yet – but I am ready to not have to wear a parka and snow boots anymore.

I found this adorable swimmie for Liv and this striped rash guard type suit for baby Cash!
