We are potty training y’all, and it is not for the weak! I can’t tell you how many articles and books we’ve read, but nothing prepares you for parenthood like potty-training. Am I right?! Liv will soon be making the transition into a big girl bed so she can make any nighttime potty trips she needs to on her own. Yes, that means we are getting rid of her crib! My little baby is growing up.

GE Enbrighten Motion-Select SleepLite
We used the GE Enbrighten Motion-Select SleepLite for her bedroom since the warm glow the night light provides helps to promote a healthy sleep cycle. We all know toddlers need all the sleep they can get – because no one wants a 3-nager running rampant.
The SleepLite has 2 motion settings on the back of the night light: Motion Activated and Motion Boost.
Motion Activated – Detected motion activates the light up to 25 feet away in low light conditions and the light turns off automatically after 90 seconds of no motion.
Motion Boost – Night light automatically turns on at dusk at a low 3 lumens, boosts to 40 lumens when motion is detected from up to 25 feet away, and automatically dims back to 3 lumens after 90 seconds without motion.

We used the motion activated light in the jack and jill bathroom since the automatic LED light turns on when motion is detected up to 25 feet away and turns off after 90 seconds of no activity. Which is perfect for a bathroom!
What’s great about the motion activated light is that it has a Dusk-to-Dawn Light Sensor. The energy-efficient light turns on at dusk and off at dawn so there is no wasted light. The dusk-to-dawn light works great in her bathroom, so Liv can walk in and have a soft light turn on automatically to guide her way to the potty.

We got lucky when we found out there was an outlet right next to the toilet in the jack and jill bathroom. We knew it was going to come in handy when we started potty-training for Liv!
The motion light detects motion within a 120-degree area and activates the light up to 20 feet away and automatically turns off after 90 seconds without motion.
