The garage for most people will always be where you park your cars, lawn care items are stored and “home gyms” live. We’re going to be making a dream workshop and potting station in our garage and I couldn’t be more excited!

My love for woodworking and DIY projects exceeded the ” hobby level” and turned in a business as well as my love of plants. My dream workshop has been something I’ve dreamt up for years! So today I’ll be sharing some color inspiration and design styles I’ve been digging for this space.

Cody couldn’t quite figure out why I wanted everything to be in his words, “pretty.” A place where you create should be inspiring and beautiful to you. My office built-ins are a luscious green with all of my plant babes. I love working in there on behind the scenes stuff, so I thought the same thing when creating my dream workshop. I also decided to throw in a potting station with my wild love of plants that doesn’t seem to slow down.

Dream Workshop and Potting Station Inspiration

I’m pretty sure this is an AD, but I love the colors and most of the time color coordinating your outdoor/gardening tools isn’t something you’re thinking about when making your purchases at Home Depot.

However, thank you Martha Stewart for showing me this beautiful gardening storage that has been an inspiration to fix up an old dice locker my husband brought home last year.

Martha Stewart Living, Garage Organization

Since we’re adding tool storage and y’all know I love white paint, we are going to paint our pegboard white! It’ll blend in better with the current wall color and somewhat flow better with the rest of the designs in our home. I mean, maybe add in some plants too!

The Design Files

This may be a shed, but can you see what direction I’m going in for this workshop and planting station? I’m getting full reign on the garage and I couldn’t be more ecstatic!

House & Home

I love the black chalkboard paint too! I might have two pegboards, because this is just too good!

I think I’ve looked at probably 100’s of pegboard organization and I’ve loved seeing how people organize theirs. It’s not just one size fits all. It’s all specifically catered to each person.

Better Homes & Gardens

I think my favorite part of this entire garage workshop is to be able to see my tools displayed. It’s taken me years to create a tool collection and I just love seeing all of my tools I’ve been able to create beautiful things with!
