This week definitely didn’t go as planned as far as getting the tile started. However, we did pick it up from Floor & Decor this past weekend! The whole family has been sick – double ear infections, flu and lots of head colds. Fingers crossed we will have tile laid and done in the next few days, y’all!
If you want to go back and catch up on some of the previous updates on the Landry room remodel – here are the links.
Laundry Room Tile Selections
The two bathrooms we remodeled in our home have hexagon tiles and we wanted to have a cohesive flow between all the wet areas in our home. Yes, not all people refer to a laundry room as a wet area – but ours flooded last Valentine’s Day so it qualifies. Lol. We are using a lot of white in the laundry room with great wood tones and lots of plants!
Progress Needs to Happen
This week you’ll see so many changes within the laundry room, especially since hubs is headed out of town for work. So my heavy lifter will only be around for a week! Holy cow, we got this y’all! We are planning to remove the cabinets, paint, fix the ceiling and install tile before he leaves. So basically almost the entire laundry room in a week. Whyyyy did we wait so long? Well family illness took over for 2 weeks, so fingers crossed we can get the ball rolling.
