We’ve missed a few Friday’s due to travel and well life gettin’ crazy but it’s Friday and we’re back with Friday Five again!
35 Weeks Pregnant
Holy cow, we’re already at 35 weeks pregnant and it’s hard to believe another little baby will be here in 3.5 weeks! I know you’re all wondering if I’ll actually finish the One Room Challenge before the baby comes. Don’t worry we’re making bets when we get closer and whoever wins I’m sending you a little something on me 😉
My mom hosted a baby sprinkle for me and baby #2 this past weekend and it still doesn’t feel like we’re adding another one to the family. Anyone else felt like that when they were pregnant with #2?!

As I finish up my console table DIY, I’ve found that I have no idea how to style one! We’ve never had a console table and it’s been on my build list since we moved into our home 3 years ago. Here are some of my favorite styled console tables over on Pinterest.
Business Talk
Can we get real and talk business for a sec? Being an entrepreneur is hard. You know what’s harder? Is trying to decide if you’ll take a REAL maternity leave when your child is born. We’re a one women show over here, no other employees except my design assistant (Cody) from time to time 😉 But hey, he gets paid in love and good food! I’ve been chatting with a lot of other women the closer I get to my due date about how they’ve dealt with maternity leave as an entrepreneur. My good friend, Ariel at PMQ for Two has a great series on this as she just had her first and took a maternity leave.
I love what I do so it’s always a labor of love, but when there’s no one to take over while you’re “out of the office” what do you do? So I’ve come up with a bit of a plan and would love y’alls input! While I take the rest of November off after baby gets here I’ll still be here on Instagram, but as far as the blog goes – I’ll have content scheduled to go LIVE every week for y’all!
Right now there are a lot of project tutorials that I haven’t had the chance to share, so you’ll be seeing a lot more of all the ones you’ve been missing!
