- Where my momma’s at? The mom guilt is strong these days the closer I get to my due date and the busier I get with work and trying to entertain Liv (the active toddler) while the hubs is in and out most weeks. It’s hard to not feel guilty for putting her in daycare while I work when we’ve only got so many days left just the two of us. But, I know a structured day is better than a day trying to work and her not getting my full undivided attention. So, while the mom guilt is strong I know we’re doing whats best for our family. Am I right friends?!
29 Weeks Pregnant
Holy cow, 29 weeks and I am legit wondering how we got here! It’s no joke the second pregnancy is even faster the second time around. Little baby M is the size of an acorn squash or the length of a “Mac keyboard” according to babylist Hah. In case you missed it on IG, I took the dreaded Glucose Test and almost choked trying to not spit it all over the women sitting next to me. Fingers crossed I pass!
I feel so sad for Cody, he hasn’t seen the baby since we found out I was pregnant and we went to my 10 week ultrasound appointment. That was almost 10 weeks ago! Our schedules have just not been able to mesh well together with work and appointment availability. We’re hoping to be able to do an ultrasound at my next appointment so Cody can see the baby!
We’re also taking “family maternity photos,” Cody’s only request was that we were able to bring the dogs. We’ll see how that goes!

Potty Training Madness with a Toddler
We have decided to start potty training like legit NO MORE DIAPERS Y’ALL! We both thought it was time since she seems to be so interested and well I really didn’t want to be changing two bums when baby #2 arrives. We started introducing potty training at around 15-18mo and bought the IKEA toddler potty. In addition we started buying potty training centered children books for Liv to get a better idea of what we were doing and what she herself was doing.
So we bit the bullet and we’re doing the so called “naked weekend,” but from my understanding from talking to other parents in this phase of life is 7 day naked week and house arrest y’all.
