If you read my post on the 8 projects we will complete this year, then you saw the office makeover on that list. It’s a hot mess express and I haven’t worked in here since quitting my 9-5 job and doing the blog full-time. I’m sharing the design we have planned for the office makeover and boy are we in for some COLORRRRR. As in give me all the earthy tones, because we are gettin’ some green up in here.
Office Makeover – Before
I mean look at this y’all. If this doesn’t make you feel better about your home, I don’t know what does. My husband calls this hoarding headquarters in our house and I’m the CEO.
Ever since building that DIY Geometric Barn Door I have been converted to the green side (*laughing at my punny self*). You can catch a peak of the baby bump here too!
I have 2 builds planned for this project, but the star of the show will definitely be the feature wall I plan on painting. We have a large built-in on one wall which is currently all white. The plan is to paint it an accent earthy green color with the help of the ProjectColor App from The Home Depot.
I plan on building a modern desk that’s almost the size of a small dining table. The current desk I have in there is so tiny! The width is what gets me, I feel like I can never push my computer back far enough for me to see. No, I don’t have terrible vision either. So, it’s just that small, y’all!
I also plan on building a cane printer cabinet to house all of our unsightly things that have to be in the office: printer, internet hub, all the chargers and extra devices we have. Anything else will be stored in baskets on the built-in bookshelf.
